About & Contact
I'm a freelance copyright educator, author, developmental editor, and college instructor:
- Offer presentations, training, and keynotes in finding and using online media and applied copyright.
- Teach at the Seattle Film Institute and in the Media Arts Department at Santa Fe Community College.
What I write: I partner with law professor Marsha Baum to write introductory applied copyright texts that include fair use examples and finding Creative Commons and open access media.
As the author of many textbooks in Adobe and Microsoft products, I enjoy translating software and web technology tools to create a meaningful and exciting learning experience for users.
What I train and teach: I'm an entertaining and dynamic presenter on copyright and finding and using digital media to colleges and organizations (it helps having written for improv).
I teach copyright, web writing, and Adobe classes at Santa Fe Community College.
What I've studied: M.A. degree in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University.
B.A. degree in Chinese from Michigan State University.
Language Certificate from the Mandarin Training Center at National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan.
