Image Search Tools
Google Image Search Reverse-search an image, then use Tools to search by time or similar images. Can search in multiple ways: Click the Search by Image camera icon, then paste an image URL (right-click an image, click Copy image address, paste into search box), upload an image from your device or computer, or Chrome or FireFox 4+ users can press and the mouse button, and then drag and drop an image into the search box.
TinEye A reverse image search engine that uses image identification technology rather than keywords, titles, or tags. Use Sort filter to search on oldest date image appeared online. Up to 50 free searches per day, 150 per week. Results include image's origin and modification versions. Chrome plugin available.

Digital Image Rights Computator Interactive program from the Visual Resources Association assesses the copyright status of a work by guiding the user through a series of queries. Final result is highlighted on a color-coded grid.
Terms of Service; Didn't Read A working group team that evaluates and rates terms of service for many major sites, such as Facebook, GitHub, Google, and Amazon. Software is free and open. Browser add-on available.
